Claire was born and raised in Northern Michigan. Growing up near the Great Lakes curated her passion for the local environment. After finishing her undergraduate degree at North Central College, she was awarded a full-ride scholarship to attend Galway Mayo Institute of Technology in Ireland. While away she decided to begin her academic journey in the environmental field. In Ireland, Claire researched the top schools for sustainability and discovered Green Mountain College, which was then ranked #1 for sustainability in the nation. She was accepted to GMC in Vermont and later graduated Summa Cum Laude with her bachelor’s in environmental studies.

Throughout her academic career, Claire gained valuable experience through internships at local nonprofits. While immersed in her nonprofit venture she developed a newfound passion for business. After moving home, she was hired to manage an affiliate branch of Christie’s International Real Estate. Eager to deepen her knowledge and expand her skill set, Claire pursued an MBA from Prescott College. At Prescott, she specialized in Sustainability Leadership, gaining insights into the complexities of global business operations and the importance of adaptive strategies in today’s fast-paced market. Claire believes in the power of continuous learning and adaptability. She is passionate about leveraging her business acumen to drive positive change and sustainable growth.

Outside of her professional pursuits, Claire loves spending time with her family and exploring new places. She is an avid writer and enjoys reading whatever she can get her hands on in her free time.
